Solved: I need to find this song!

I just heard a song playing in a store and LOVE IT! Unfortunately I didnt ask the clerk if she knew who it was.

Song is female artist, sounded folk like with minimal instruments and the chorus she sang 'Whyyyyyyyyyyyy' followed by 'wont you hold me' or 'dont you like me' or something, and this was repeated a couple of times in the chorus.
She sounded a bit out of tune at first then it totally suited the song. Its not very fast

I came in on the middle of it and didnt get a chance to listen to it carefully.

Cant seem to find any lyrics when I google it!! its driving me crazy and its been stuck in my head for days.

Reminds me of Bree Sharp's song "David Duchovny".

Mine is much slower and more acoustic sounding. I have a feeling its a newer song although I could be wrong.

Also, the girl sounded younger, possibly under 30?
