*(1)balere: they are dance floors where Italian people dance a typical kind of dance, called "liscio", like polca, mazurca...those are the dances our grand parents used to dance when they were young, and nowadays if you go to a balera you find almost only old peaple dancing, but you'll be surprised: most of them dance so well!!!!!!

*(2):Raoul Casadei is an Italian orchestra director, and his orchestra usually plays "liscio" music

    *(3) occhiali a mosca: they're sunglasses, very big and round, that look a bit like the eyes of flyes;
canotta: it' another way of saying canottiera, it's the piece of underware the men use under their shirts, but meny guys, first of all in the South of Italy, feel very macho-like when they wear, in the summer, just a canottiera whith a big chain on their nek...in Italy such men are often described as "tamarri"

*(4)pogare: it's a term we use to call that particular kind of jumping dance you do when dancing ska music, hitting your friends with your shoulders, you know...

*(5)bocce: it'a play that old people still play in Italy, it looks a bit like bowling, but there are only balls and it's played outside, on the sand

*(6)I don't know what it means, but bombolotto is usually meant for something round and not too big, while Tony Montana is the main subject in the film "scarface" bu I haven't seen it, and I don't know what it refers to

*(7)tic:it means a nervous gesture some people repeat even if they don't want to, like squeezing their eyes if they're nervous

*(8-9):the silk epil is a machine the ladies use to unfur their legs, while PIL stands for Prodotto Interno Lordo, it's an echonomical index

*(10) V-day stands for Vaffanculo day, it was organised by Beppe Grillo, an Italian comic actor I love, to protest against our corrupted politicians, and to say "VAFFANCULO" to the all of them, it was a great manifestation, and happened for the first time in september 2007, if you want you can listen to the official soundtrack of the event "v-day ci sei o non ci sei" by Leo Pari, it's a nice song!!!!

ultra violenza in tele al pomeriggio
I saw that this sentence has been mistaken by an italian girl who translated those lyrics here. That’s because... girls usually don’t go to soccer on afternooons!

She translated "ultra-violenza" as "too much violence", which is *also* correct. But in slang, that means VIOLENZA ULTRÀ! ultra-violenza is "violenza ultrà", that is, stadium violence, supporters' violence.

The whole sentence means, to sum it up: when old, we’ll just WATCH ultra-violence on TV in the afternoon, instead of DOING it at the stadium!

It’s a nice error, for a girl. I mean, stadiums and soccer are no girl's business. Ciao ciao.

..Well Maulon you're right, I must admit I don't like soccer so much, and I don't ever go to football matches, I just didn't think of that kind of translation, sorry for making a mistake...

    I see...

Me, i liked that verse very much, because... it shows that J-Ax feels like me in that respect. That is, he feels television football as something for the elderly. I feel exactly the same, and rarely do i watch matches if not at the stadium.

If everybody felt like hime and me... probably mr Berlusconi woudnt be so f*ing rich today. He’s done so much bad to national football just to ripe money (such as introducing singular contractation for teams’ seasons, or reducing vision of scores on free TV...). I think the devils are preparing a suitable sector of hell for him... )) in which he'll be forced to play football for free for eternity... with his wife Veronica obviously supporting his opponents... LOL

(She’s spitting poison onto him these days, did you read?)

My dear... i’m just revising the novel i wrote against modern football. 350 pages of hate against the League and the Federation and also J. Blatter (il Blattaro!). By December i should put it online. "Odio eterno al calcio moderno", that’s a nice summary of it. So... just give a kiss on your boyfriend's forhead on my behalf.
