    Default please help - 90's -2000 song

    Thank you in advance!

i was at a restaurant, and heard music on the radio. The song was familiar to me; i ran up to catch the DJ say the name of the song when it was over and i missed it.

Not knowing what song this is has caused me anxiety and insomnia (i'm not trying to be funny...) It is very embarrassing that this has bothered me so much...

The song sounds like it is from the 90s, maybe even early 2000s - kinda folk rock, no keyboards, synths or anything edgy...just a rock song...no distorted guitars

I only know some words that can possibly be in the chorus...

" I keep walking away........., i keep running to you..." then repeated a few times....or a variation of that.

    Bands that it sounds like:
    Googoo dolls
    Matchbox 20
    Better than ezra

tempo is about 120 bpm, and the chords for the chorus on guitar are

" I keep walking away........, i keep running to you..."

    C G D C G D

Please help, you have no idea how much this would make me happy

canada; its not a heavy song - it has an 'adult alternative' feel to it

the lyrics could also be reversed : "Runing away, walking to you..." or "Walking away, running to you...."

    Thanks for trying to help

the singer sings at a higher pitch in the chorus...and when he sings the word "away" he modulates his voice a bit... (decending) but keeps the same note for the other wrds... "i keep walking away ay ayyy"
