Solved: Help! Anyone?

Hi,

I heard a great song on the radio the other week but I was driving and could not catch the title or the band. Can someone tell me who is singing and what song is this? It was a rock song and sounded like "3 Doors Down", "Creed" or something similar but I have not figured it out. I caught the following phrases (and have it on my cellphone recorded):
