I'm sure this is a 1 in a million shot but it's been bugging me for a while and I can't get this song fragment out of my head.

I heard it in the mid/late 80's or EARLY 90's. It's a rave/techno/hard dance type song. The only part I remember had the following lyrics:

"you can die" and the die part was echoed/repeated (at least the 'ie' part of die was)

It's a song that would be at home at any good rave. It had a fast beat and a few samples here and there.
