Question Could someone help me with an english translation for a french song? (Fibre De Verre)

    The lyrics are:
Fibre de verre, je ne sais vibrer
    Qu'en paratonnerre, je suis condamnée
    A l'éclair, la foudre éphémère
    Car si l'on m'aime
    L'on doit me consumer

    Car pour me plaire
    Il faut me consumer

    Mais demain, oui, demain
    J'en fait le serment
J'ouvrirai les yeux, mes deux yeux,
    tout en grand
    Sur toi, en somme
    Mon bel amant
    Toi qui assis, m'attend
    Tout en m'aimant

Fibre de verre, je me suis allumée
    Sans un éclair
    Sans même un brasier
    Juste une lueur
    En mon intérieur
    Ta chaleur
    A su trouver mon cœur

    Mais demain, oui, demain...

I've looked all over for english lyrics to this ( I love the song, but I want to know what it means! ) and it's nowhere that I can find. Help?

    Fibreglass

    Fibreglass , I can't vibrate
Unless I'm in lightning rob , I'm doomed
    To glints , ephemeral lightning
    Because if you love me
    You have to consume me

But tomorrow , yes , tomorrow
    I swear
    I will open my eyes
My two eyes , all wide open
    On a handsome man
    A handsome lover
    Who will spare my life
    While loving me

    Fibreglass , I've broken
My teeth , my nose , because of many affairs
    With a too stiff heart
    With too spicy mores
    Because to please me
    You have to consume me

But tomorrow , yes , tomorrow
    I swear
I will open my eyes , my two eyes
    All wide open
    On you , in sum
    My handsome lover
You , seated , waiting for me
    While loving me

    Fibreglass , I've lit up
    Without any glint
    Even without any inferno
    Only a glow
    Inside me
    Your warmth
    Could find my heart

    But tomorrow , yes , tomorrow ..

Oh thank you very very much! <3

Edit: Hm. I can get sorta what the song's about but the only verse I'm really confused on is the very first.

    "Fibreglass , I can't vibrate
Unless I'm in lightning rob , I'm doomed
    To glints , ephemeral lightning
    Because if you love me
    You have to consume me"

    What should that mean? o_o

I think in the verse, the song is differentiating between different words that all kind of mean lightning, but some are stronger than others. Also, there is a pause after condamne, but it's still the same the same thought, so it is:

"je ne sais vibrer qu'en paratonnerre" = I only know to vibrate in strong lighting,
"je suis condamne a l'eclair," = I am doomed to flashes,
"la foudre ephemere," = and brief lightning,
"car si l'on m'aime," = because if you love me,
l'on doit me consumer" = you must consume me (in lightning)

"Foudre" is also part of a french idiom, "coup de foudre" which is a bolt of lightning, or love at first sight. In the song, it's basically saying to have more than just love at first sight, love for only a moment. In order to love me, you need to be powerful and constant.
