Solved: Rock, Metal song

This is my first time posting here, so if I botch it, my apologies. The song I'm trying to figure out is a rock/metal type song with a fairly quick, steady tempo. I've no idea the name of the artist, title, or even where I heard it, but the single line has been in my head all day. As follows:

"Stand in the place where you've been, in the place where you were, in the place where I take it in"

Note the words "been" and "were" are more half notes where the rest in probably quarter notes. "Take it in" is more drawn out and sung louder than the rest of the line. These lyrics are most likely incorrect, but they are the best I can recall. Also note, these lyrics are similar to REM's "Stand" but it is not the same song. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
