Default Amaia Montero - Quiero Ser, to English

Quiero ser, una palabra serena y clara
I want to be, a serene and clear word
Quiero ser, un alma libre, de madrugada
I want to be, a free soul, in the dawn
Quiero ser una emigrante, de tu boca delirante,
I want to be an emigrant, of your delirious mouth,
De deseos que una noche convertiste en mi dolor.
Of desires that a night you turned into my pain.

    Quiero creer, quiero saber,
I want to believe, want to know,
que dormiré a la verita tuya
that I will sleep next to you
Quiero esconderme del miedo y mirar de una vez
I want to hide from fear and look once and for all
Los ojos que tiene la luna.
    The eyes the moon has.

    Quiero cantar a la libertad,
I want to sing to freedom,
y caminar cerca del mar, amarradita siempre a tu cintura,
and walk by the sea, always tied to your waist,
que esta locura de amarte no puede acabar
that this madness of loving you can’t reach to an end
por mucho que te entren las dudas
the more doubts come to you
de si eres tú el que me hace tan feliz.
wondering if it is really you who makes me so happy.

Quiero ser, la que te jure amor eterno.
I want to be, the one who swears everlasting love to you.
Quiero ser, una parada en la estación
I want to be, a stop in the station
    que lleva tu nombre.
    bearing your name.

    Quiero ser el verbo fuego,
I want to be the fire verb,
    quiero andarme sin rodeos, confesarte
I want to stop beating about the bush, to confess
que una tarde empecé a morir por ti
That an afternoon I started to die because of you

    Quiero creer, quiero saber,
I want to believe, want to know,
que dormiré a la verita tuya
That I will sleep next to you
Quiero esconderme del miedo y mirar de una vez
I want to hide from fear and look once and for all
Los ojos que tiene la luna
    The eyes the moon has.

Thank you, this template is useful. I have my original translations in Word docs using double column format that's because the copy-paste produces this hard-to-view format here on allthelyrics.com.
There is any way to set double column on here? It's laborious to type line by line the text.

Well you should try MS Excel, I always do that

1- In one column you put the text in the original language - yes, select all the text to be translated from the source page and paste it on Excel. In the other column you insert the translated version, or even you can start translating the original phrases right there in these lines beside the original. Do not forget that the lines original/translated text should match

2 - Select the whole table, and next Ctrl+C(Copy)

3 - Now go to MS Word and paste that text using Ctrl+V

4 - Seek for help typing F1 and type "Convertir texto en una tabla and get started how to do this or visit here http://www.ehow.com/how_2099597_conv...soft-word.html In the process, when converting table to text choose the option separar texto en párrafos and click &Ok, there you are, the text line by line. Then you will get this effect
    Text
    Text
    Text
    Text
    . . .
5- Now copy and paste the new text generated here

You can even use 4 columns like this:

    * | Original Phrase | ** | Translation
    * | Original Phrase | ** | Translation
    * | Original Phrase | ** | Translation

In place of * use the code "[ B ]" and in place of ** use the code "[ /B ]", but type it without a space between "[" and "B" or "]" and also "[" and "/B" or "]". And once you build this table you can save it and next just insert/erase data from columns 2 and 4

Thank you, I did it already. Do you know a way to put the text in 2 columns on here?
