can we say that ettiğin is a past of etmek and means (made)

the translation of the sentence goes like this

thank you for helping me with registration (if (s)he is helping for enrollment or such) or thank you for helping me with recording (if (s)he is helping in the music studio or such).

Anyway, it is past tense of yardım etmek (to help) and 2nd person singular. We understand it by the final n.
