Heard this song on the radio; missed who sang it - it was in a restaurant so i couldn't make out the lyrics clearly...but it was a recognizable song...
When i say alternative i don't mean indie, or underground; think more along the lines of the post grunge era (from '94-00' or so) something like GooGoo Dolls, Toad the wet sprocket, Better than Ezra etc...)
I only know some words that can 'possibly' be in the chorus...
" I keep walking away........., i keep running to you..." then repeated a few times....or a variation of that.
The lyrics could also be reversed : "Runing away, walking to you..." or "Walking away, i keep running running to you...."
Some other details
- Kinda sounds like that Tal Bachman Song "She's so high.."
- Tempo is about 120 bpm
- Chords for the chorus on guitar are:
" I keep walking away........, i keep running to you..."
C G D C G D
- This is most likely an American or Canadian band; far shot it could be British or Australian...
- There are no distorted guitars; it's not a 'heavy' song
- It is not Three Days Grace
- The singer sings at a higher pitch in the chorus...and when he sings the word "away" he modulates his voice a bit... (decending) but keeps the same note for the other wrds... "i keep walking away ay ayyy"
Please for the love of all that is Holy help me...i will soon be admitted into the loony bin if i cant figure this out..been going on for months...I may also play the chorus on guitar and sign it, then post...but thats the last resort!
