song ID "..getting stronger"

No sample unfortunately, but I keep hearing it when I'm out with mates.

The lyrics are sung by a female vocalist (almost a bit Janet Jackson ish in her upper range)

The chorus seems to be -

"it's getting stronger, i can't take this any longer" or something like that, then she does this "Woh, oh...oh oh oh oh oh" and the same lines are repeated.

I've heard a slow version - obviously from an album, but I've heard a dancey version too.

I love this song, but noone knows it when I ask them.

If anyone knows what song I'm going on about that would be great.
