AE song with 'play that funky music'

and it wasn't 'play that funky music white boys....' i know that song. This was a video playing on their tv, kind of a punkish rock song- reminded me of Eminem but wasn't him. The only lyric i remembered was 'play that funky music' because i thought it would be easy enough to track down! ha.
