1. pir: from persian, an old person. arabic equivalent is شيخ. in mystic orders it means a spiritual leader: master, sensei, 師傅.
2. a kamber or kanber, possibly from kambur "hunchback", is the escort and servant of a pir or dede.
3. murteza: from arabic مرتضي, meaning one that has been approved or pleased with, is an epithet of ali.
4. eyvallah: from arabic اى والله yes, by god, means thank you, or bye, depending on the context. in mystic terminology it's also a very respectful greeting word: hail.
5. an allusion to a legend.
6. lion: translation of arabic حيدر, is another epithet of ali.
