    Estarabim

    Çok memleketler gezdim
i traveled all over many countries
    Neler gördüm, görmedim
i saw and didn't see many things
    Bu kocaman dünyada
    in this tremendousworld
    Senin gibi görmedim
    i haven't seen someone like y ou

    Estarabim, estarabim
    ......................
    Sağdan, soldan estarabim
    from right,from left .......

i don't know what estrabim is?

    Öyle bir yar istemem
    i don't want such beloved
    İstesem de istemem
    i wouldn't want even if i wanted
    Güller bitti dilimde
    roses waned in the area
    Nasıl diyeyim bilmem
i don't know how to say so

    Estarabim, estarabim
    Sağdan, soldan estarabim

    Ateş olmayan yerde
    Duman tütmezmiş derler
they say the place that doesn't burn doesn't give off smoke
    Zaman zaman halini
    Bir görseler gülerler
if they look at your state from time to time they laugh

    Böyle bir yar istemem
    İstesem de istemem
    Güller bitti dilimde
    Nasıl diyeyim bilmem

    thanks in advance
    life is Super good

nobody knows, even erkin koray himself (or he just keeps it for himself)

    Güller bitti dilimde
    roses waned in the area
this is a common misunderstanding, even among turkish speakers. here bitmek means to grow. there's an expression dilinde tüy bitmek, as in sana "yapma" diye diye dilimde tüy bitti. literally, feather grew on my tongue because of telling you "don't do it" again and again. it's used after being tired of repeating something over and over again. here the lyricist alters it as roses grew on my tongue, implying that he has repeated many times and used up words but he's not complaining about it much, as the next line suggests.

ahh, well, i'm still not used to the romanization of arabic (as you folks use in the arabic lyrics translation section of the forum) and completely lost in any local vernacular of it. i think it's something like سأنبت الاعشاب على لسانك. thank you very much.
