It's driving me crazy!!

I'm looking for a song title and artist for a song that I've heard maybe 2 or three times total. The story line in the song is about a man who tricks a witch in the swamp into giving over all her gold because he has convinced her that he loves her and wants to marry her. She finds out his deception and casts a spell on him. The only line i know in the song is " ooooowwww Wwwweeee....another man done gone". I believe it came out in the 70's. Someone help!
