    Default A little Bulgarian phrasebook

I know there's a thread bout learning Bulgarian but we really need to have a thread bout dictionary apart cuz most of our "students" here need first to have vocabulary of the simplest and most often used words...
That's why this thread will be ONLY for words and all the grammer stuff will be in the learning Bulgarian thread!
btw this thread is made especially for PROPEL but also for all wanna-study-Bulgarian ppl
So if u have any questions about a WORD/PHRASE just ask!
    Eins.. hier kommt die Sonne
    Zwei..hier kommt die Sonne
    Drei.. hier kommt die Sonne
    Vier
    Fünf
    Sechs
    Sieben..
    Acht..
    Neun.....
    Ich hab' keine Lust.

Hey Matt! Let's leave "pravja" and "napravja" for now OK?
Well cuz this thread isn't ONLY for PROPEL (though he was the reason I made it) but for all studying-blg-ppl we should start from the very beginning
First: how to read in Bulgarian:

    А/а - а
    Б/б - b
    В/в - v
    Г/г - g
    Д/д - d
    Е/е - e
    Ж/ж - zh (pleaSure)
    З/з - z
    И/и - i
    Й/й - j/y (short i)(plaY)
    К/к - k
    Л/л - l
    М/м - m
    Н/н - n
    О/о - o
    П/п - p
    Р/р -r
    С/с - s
    Т/т - t
    У/у - u
    Ф/ф -f
    Ц/ц -c/ts (piZZa)
    Ч/ч - ch
    Ш/ш -sh
    Щ/щ -sht (STadt - german )
Ъ/ъ - it responds to no particular letter in latin... it's pronounced like the vocal in the word "gIrl"
ь -no particular letter... no word can begin with it...as a sound it responds to j
    Ю/ю -ju (YOU)
    Я/я -ja (ya)
    Eins.. hier kommt die Sonne
    Zwei..hier kommt die Sonne
    Drei.. hier kommt die Sonne
    Vier
    Fünf
    Sechs
    Sieben..
    Acht..
    Neun.....
    Ich hab' keine Lust.

well , we also should mention the simpliest pronouns:

    Аз - I
    Ти - you
    Той -he
    Тя - she
    То - it
    Ние - we
    Вие - you
    Те - they

The others I consider a bit harder to get so we leave them for now and first learn some basic words
    Eins.. hier kommt die Sonne
    Zwei..hier kommt die Sonne
    Drei.. hier kommt die Sonne
    Vier
    Fünf
    Sechs
    Sieben..
    Acht..
    Neun.....
    Ich hab' keine Lust.

I think first we should start with the first words kids learn when trying to speak...the family members

    майка -mother
    баща -father
    мама -mum
    татко - dad
    брат - brother
    сестра -sister
    братовчед -male cousin
    братовчедка- female cousin
    баба -grandmother
    дядо -grandfather
    родители -parents

    мъж - man
    жена -woman
    съпруг -husband
    съпруга -wife
    момче -boy
    момиче -girl
    дете - child
    бебе -baby

If ur interested in the word for boyfriend/girlfriend... it's the same for both and it's гадже

    Any questions bout that group?

i would make a change in the alphabet thing.

"Ъ/ъ" instead of "gIrl" i would change it to "mUch/ Uh sound"

    butttt, thats just me haha

Ама защо пишете "петнайсет", когато правилното е "петнадесет"? 0.о Това го виждам за пореден път (даже съм виждала и подобно заглавие на книга) и супер много се учудвам ... да не би да са променили правописа, докато мен ме е нямало?

Тони,аз доколкото помня,ние като се готвихме за матурата и учителката ни по български ни каза,че и двете форми са правилни...
Ей сега проверих в новия правописен речник на БАН...и двете са верни.
