Arrow Lyrics Changed Due To Controversy

I note that (for example) the lyrics for "Dangling Conversation" listed on AllThe
Lyrics.com are the same,no matter what artist.

But this doesn't take into consideration lyrics which were originally "banned"
by radio stations....or,when artists actually put special lyrics to the song.

For example, the song "Dangling Conversation" (written by Paul Simon) has
a line sung by Simon and Garfunkel: "Is the theater really dead?"

However,in the hands of a radical artist such as Joan Baez, this became "Is
    the church really dead?"

Technically, she'd done a special lyric on that one. However,if she'd written the
song,it's still possible that others would have sung it differently.

Sometimes titles are changed due to controversy. We all know that The Rolling
Stones did not sing the lyrics "Star-Star" to the song by the same name...instead, they sang "...a star-f******" etc.

And here's a real good one: Remember my fellow Texan,Janis Joplin? She did a song called
"Me and Bobby McGee". If you listen closely, the CORRECT lyrics go, "One day on Mescaline
("Snow"-oh)/I let him slip away", etc. I'm not into drugs, but the slang word for mescaline
IS "snow". I've never seen the totally correct lyrics to this song printed anywhere!
