    Default Ksheho Ita

    Shalom & shalom ......

There is a wonderful singer on MySpace Music named Ofri Ben-David. One of her songs is titled Ksheho Ita, obviously a transliteration of the Hebrew. First of all, what does the title mean? Second, if anyone is willing to go to her site and listen to the song, I'd like to know what she is singing. It's soooo beautiful to LISTEN TO, but I expect it's even more beautiful with knowing the lyrics. Thank you in advance.

Smile ofri ben david - when he is with her

ofri ben david - when he is with her /(ofri ben david - ksheho ita)
    ****************************
the link to the song: http://www.myspace.com/ofribendavid

when he is with her, he is calm\peaceful like the sea
when he is with her, he forgets the words
when he is with her, he is calm and relaxed
when he is with her, he is different.. more than he is with me...

    he sees him self.. when..
he listens to every word that she is saying
he embraces her, and cherishes every moment
when he is with her, he is different, more different, than he is with me

I know this is asking ALOT, but I would love to be able to sing along.

Can you transliterate into English? OR... I can read Hebrew a bit. Maybe along with hearing her voice, I can coordinate myself.

כשהוא איתה, הוא שליו כמו המים
כשהוא איתה, הוא שוכח את המילים
    כשהוא איתה, הוא שקט ורגוע
כשהוא איתה הוא שונה, מכשהוא איתי

ksheho ita, who shaleve kmo hamaim
ksheho ita, who sho-ha'-ach at hamilim
    ksheho ita, who shaket va-ra-gu-ah'
    ksheho ita, who sho-na', me-kshehu e-tea

    כשהוא איתה הוא רואה מעצמו
מקשיב לכל מילה שהיא רק אומרת
    הוא מחבק ונוצר כל רגע

וכשהוא איתה הוא שונה, מכשהוא איתי

    kshehu ita, who ro-ah' ma'-atzmo
makshive la-chol mila, sha-he rak omeret
    who ma-cha-back va-notzer kol rega
    va-ka-shehu ita who sho-na', ma-kashehu e-tea

**hope it turned out to be o.k.

    ** מים - maim - means water.
but I changed the meaning of the word in the sentence: water to sea
"that he is peacfull like the sea""

You are VERY KIND to take the time and trouble to translate this song for me. I wish I could somehow return the favor. Rebecca
