Default SOTIRIA BELLOU - PLATIA VATHIS - Translation

    Hello,
Does anybody have the English translation of the song, PLATIA VATHIS, as sung by SOTIRIA BELLOU on the album 'LAÏKA PROASTIA' from 1980. Any effort will be highly appreciated.

    [QUOTE=Milena;624804]Πλατεία Βάθης
    Vathis Square

    Στίχοι: Μιχάλης Μπουρμπούλης
    Μουσική: Ηλίας Ανδριόπουλος
    Πρώτη εκτέλεση: Σωτηρία Μπέλλου

The workers would go off, and you would go off with them
and I was left there all alone, expecting you
with a song, through my bitter mouth
and a flower in the water

Come here, to Vathis Square, to find out
come to find out, the life I'm living on
Come to sit next to me, to cry,
one nice evening, at the end of Acharnon (str.)
Come to Vathis Square, to find out
come to find out, the life I'm living on

It would get darker and the night would fall heavily
when you said to me "I'm leaving, farewell"
Years and years being looked down on
a heart burnt down from the fire

    What a song...
