Song I heard at a bar

I heard this song at a bar the other day and I knew that I have heard it before. I really like it but I was not in the best condition to remember all the lyrics. It kind of sounds like Peter Gabriel but I know its not. The sound is rock, like something he would do. The only lyrics I can remember are the chorus, which sound like he is singing, "Shy Love" or "Shine Love". It is only those two words for the chorus repeated several times. I know its kind of a vague description. But, hopefully someone has had a similar way they remember it by, I would really be excited to find out this song.

I'm not too familiar with Peter Gabriel, but the chorus sounds like that of "Shine on" by House of Love.

Nope, thats not it. But those lyrics are very similar. I would say the singer sounds like a mix between Randy Newman and Peter Gabriel. I would be forever in debt to anyone who can figure this out.
