Haha good question Didn't I already give you a video on how to pronounce the random Turkish letters? Anyhow..
Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loK4T...eature=related (1:35 for æ, ø, å).
Yes but they all sounded the same to me
Oh my god, wallah if you could hear me now aaaaah I sound terrible! The g and the j are something out of this world
And half the letters sound like oo to me, O, U, Y, A with a circle, and O with a dash
Hello dearies I'm officially joining the Danish group here
Ya Noor, now you know how I felt when I listened to the different vowels in Icelandic xD The only word I can say properly is "Eyjafjallajökull" LOL!!! (I heard a native pronounce it on the news and taught my friends; it's now a running joke among us I know, our humour is weird )
Minä olen horjunut, epäilen enemmän kuin ennen
Mutta halusit ihmisen, sen viat, sen heikkouden
LOOOOL I was serious I already had told Plainy I'd show up here at some point... Just forgot (it was a month ago )
Minä olen horjunut, epäilen enemmän kuin ennen
Mutta halusit ihmisen, sen viat, sen heikkouden
LOL!!! I got the "tag min hand" (I've studied a little Old Norse) and 'hej'
Have you heard the band Hej Matematik? I think I posted a link last month or something in the Cafe, from Plainy Måneblomst likes them, too!
Minä olen horjunut, epäilen enemmän kuin ennen
Mutta halusit ihmisen, sen viat, sen heikkouden
Well thats all I know stop showing off
No I havent
Hello = Hej
Whats up = Hva'sa
How are you = Hvordan gur det
What are you doing = Hvad laver du?
Learn them
Plainy - what is the ' for in Hva'sa?
All else I can say in Icelandic (see if Plainy gets this ):
"þvi miður, en eg tala ekki íslensku!" (I think I missed an accent somewhere... Oh well )
Minä olen horjunut, epäilen enemmän kuin ennen
Mutta halusit ihmisen, sen viat, sen heikkouden
Velkommen to our hyggelig lil' thread girls
Oooohh I'm so glad to see the both of you here ...FREAKS!
Hvad så?
I don't have any difficulties with Norwegian and Swedish, but Icelandic is a little strange though
The only part I understood of the sentence you wrote above is: [...] og jeg taler ikke islandsk:
[...] and I don't speak Icelandic.. no?
Velkommen!! Nice.
Do you mind? I'm liking Danish at the moment, you're a FREAK for not liking it
Merci! Hvad sa??
Is there a rule we should know about this? like in french they take it away when there are two vowels (or something like that lol) what's the reason in Danish?
Btw I know you don't have the Danish letters on your keyboards, instead type this:
æ = ae
ø = oe
å = aa
I think it sounds nice Glem mig FTW
Aaah skeen, okay thanks
p.s and whats thanks in danish??
Edit: 7adreen! ae, oe, aa
Tak! Mange tak!!
Det var så lidt, you're welcome
