solved: "I'll be the one" by Boz Scaggs

greetings,

i started working at this establishment in August 2004 and am still working there. from the time I was hired until Christmastime 2005, they played this channel on DMX that would play adult contemporary songs. There was this song on there that I really liked, but could never figure out the name of it (I tried googling the lyrics and such). they switched the channel at Christmastime, and when Christmas was over, they put it on a new channel. Recently, I tried to see if I could switch it back to the original channel, but that channel seems to be gone now. I now know how to identify the names of the songs that DMX plays, but I'm still trying to figure out this song.

it's a rather slow song, and I believe it might be an r & b song. unfortunately, i don't remember much of the lyrics. all i remember is

"Ill be the one who loves you.......oh, oh. I'll be the oooonnnee."

I believe "I'll the be one"is the chorus. I know this is tough and I wish I remembered more lyrics. I was hoping maybe someone may have listened to the same channel and know what it is.
