    Default Alicia Keys

Hi, everyone, I wish you all enjoy great days!

I have a question, it really killing me and my friend.
From 'A woman's worth (remix version)', there is a sentence reads,
'If you feel me, then clap your hands', as you all knows.

I searched all 4 different remix versions and all of them shows the same sentense as above.

HOWEVER, the problem is, that to me and my friend, when we hear the song, it hear different. I mean we don't hear 'then clap' part, it sounds differently, something like 'get up' or 'get off' or 'then off', etc..

Please let me have your opinion; do we have hearing problem? or really the lyrics wrong?

Please solve this problem. Many thanks to you in advance.

    Default Big thanks to Bugmenot1

I appreciate your reply indeed, Bugmenot1!

Here let me try to continue my questions, if your would let me.

    1) How did you find those two different versions? Was thas easy to you?

    2) So, the official remix version goes with 'get off', however the lyrics on the internet all(?) shows 'then clap'. Were you able to find any lyrics read 'get off'?

    3) So, over and all, how many different versions of this song?
And which is the official written lyrics and sung lyrics?
Did you find, in your area, any mistakes by the publishing company of this song and album that shows discrepancies between the song and written lyric?

I'll be only be happy when I receive your next reply.
Thanks once again to you. Have a good day!

    A FAN still puzzled

    Search on Google video:http://video.google.com/videosearch?...en&emb=0&aq=f#

You can see Alicia sing "Get off" here at about 3:15:
    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xa2...-worth-r_music
I cannot find any lyrics that read "Get off".

The only OFFICIAL version of the song is the one distributed by Sony music:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PWunLT7Wgw

The only OFFICIAL lyrics are here: http://www.gracenote.com/search/lyri...oman%27s+Worth
Notice the publishers are listed at the bottom.

The remixes are unofficial and the lyrics you find on the internet are usually submitted by fans. The publishers are not involved in unofficial lyrics.

    Default last question to Mr.Bugmenot1

Hello! Bugmenot1! Thanks again for your prompt reply indeed.
I suppose this might be a last question.

All right, now the thing still remains in my mind is, when she sang 'get off', what's that supposed to mean? What's the meaning of the whole sentence?
Does it consistent with the lines before and after?
What's the meaning of 'get off hnads'? Isn't it way different when compared to 'clap your hands'?

Please let me receive your comments once again. Have a great day!

Oh, Bugmenot1, I just checked out and I think I got the answer.
I sounds to me now, 'get off your ***', not 'get off your hands', which makes sense to the whole sentence.
I need your confirmation on this. Please ignore above.
