I just found this song and I love it
can someone please translate it for me? hvala

    San dok ljubi me

    sunce zlatno zlacano
    magla sakrila
    biser voddom ladjanom
    zore se umila
    opet sam usnula
    letim sa vilama
    plesem s gorama
    pjevam sa pticama

    pusti me zoro, sestrice mila
    jos ne budi me
    nikada nisam srecnija bila
    san dok ljubi me

(and btw is it in serbian or in bosnian? )
Twój świat kręci się wokół mnie
En pige danser i flammernes skær
Måneblomst hun danser som den varme vind og ulvene hyler i nat ★

    San dok ljubi me
    When the dream kisses me

    sunce zlatno zlacano
    oh golden "goldly" sun
    magla sakrila
    the fog has hidden
    biser voddom ladjanom
    zore se umila *

    opet sam usnula
    again i started to dream
    letim sa vilama
    i'm flying with fairies
    plesem s gorama
    dancing with mountains
    pjevam sa pticama
    singing with birds

    pusti me zoro, sestrice mila
    dawn leave me, dear sister
    jos ne budi me
    don't wake me yet
    nikada nisam srecnija bila
    never was i more happy
    san dok ljubi me
than when the dream kisses me

    * don't know how to translate those two lines

well, that's a very complicated question because it's more a political than a linguistical one, the name of the artist sounds serbian but the text is at least not written in the official serbian dialect that is spoken in serbia (which mustn't mean anything)

I agree with miki But, since she is from Bosnia and by that one "j" in "pjevam sa pticama", we can conclude it's Bosnian

yeah, but if you asked the artist in what language she sings she would probably answer serbian.

hm, no help with the lines that i couldn't translate ?

btw. to add up to the confusion, if you said that this text was written in croatian you wouldn't be wrong either.

well.. I think we can conclude it's not in any language because it makes little sense.. especially the two lines

    biser vodom ladjanom
    with cold pearl water
    zore se umila
I washed my face in the dawn...
(or = my face dawned; if we want to make it equally ununderstandable in English)

Pitanje je da li se umila u zoru ili se umila zorom or .. . ?

    thanks for the translation
I don't know what are the differences between serbian, croatian and bosnian that's why I asked (I'm not trying to offend anyone, I'm just an ignorant )
but it doesn't really matter, I love the song anyway.

It's a perfectly normal thing to ask and, as you can see, even we can't sometimes tell the difference so..
