note **The french is 'un sac de blé ' - a sack of wheat. As- there is no direct translation in English I've used the nearest equvilient expression.

A while back I bought the CD and DVD to this musical. I wondered if a subtitle file has been created. It would be a great help seeing as I don't speak French. I have a great love for European musical (especially Gothic themed ones.) Give me a holler if anyone can do this for me. -

*la vallée des larmes - the Valley of Tears - earthly life and suffering, as opposed to heaven, the happiness of future life. The English equivalent is 'Veil of Tears', which I have used.
**The fleuve du temps - the river of time - a metaphor for time which is the master of all. All things both good and evil submit to it's power. In it's flow, past present and future are one.
Lucy is telling her father to rest in hope of the life to come. As Lucy was saved by the love of her father, the implication is that she will watch over him and see him safe.

I am in the process of subtitling this musical with the great translations provided by bluejacket. It's pretty slow work, but I have three songs done. I'm hoping to get most of it knocked out before the weekend. In addition. I've already upscaled and cleaned up the video so it will fit well on a Blu-Ray disk (I don't have to say how much I love this musical). Originally Posted by Alisa Cox
