My friend, it's a part of this famous verse:

ما بدين در, نه پي حشمت و جاه آمده ايم
از بد حادثه اینجا به پناه آمده ایم

It's meaning would be"
We come so far, not for the glory nor for the honor
We are looking for a savior, because of our miseries

and it refers to a holy pilgrimage, when a person wish for repentance.
