    I love the dance track Heavens Gate by Freon, but I would like to know which classical piece is used in this song. I'm pretty sure it is a separate piece of music, because I remember having heard it once as background music on a BBC nature documentary (without the beats obviously).

    Hi, the song you are referring to at about 2:45 in the YouTube clip is a sacred piece called Miserere Mei composed by Allegri.

    It sounds like the recording they used might be from a CD that was put out by EMI Classics called "Sacred Classics". That particular recording is stunningly beautiful. Hope that helps!
