Briciole di vita che raccolgo ogni giorno
Cose che per caso mi succedono intorno.

Metto lì da parte ogni straccio d’emozione
Che finisco poi per buttare in una canzone.
Sempre questa folla di pensieri nella mente
Và rumoreggiando come pioggia battente.
Sempre questo giro di musica e parole
Che se parte bene poi arriva dritto al cuore.
Prendo appunti e note,
Io lo faccio per mestiere
E mi piace molto come puoi vedere.

Con questo spirito che ho
Tutto l’amore che ho dentro,
Più qualche cosa che spiegar non so.

Che spingo il giorno un po’ più in là,
Rubando cielo al tramonto
Ci guadagnerò un bel po’ di luce in più…in più.
Chi lo sa cos’è che continuo a cercare
Dentro certi viaggi dalla terra alla luna.

Neanche dopo tanti atterraggi di fortuna,
Forse perché in fondo a ogni storia nuova
Manca quella frase che non ho scritto ancora.
