Sein warmes Licht verzaubert uns're Welt,
Bringt uns Zuversicht und Geborgenheit.
Wenn du ihn siehst, dann ist Weihnachtszeit.

A little star stands in the heavens.
Its light enchants our world,
brings us confidence and security.
If you see it, then it’s Christmastime.


Manchmal tut dir das Herz so weh.
Deine Träume liegen vor dir kaltem Schnee.
Und du bist allein mit der Einsamkeit.
Gib niemals auf, bald ist Weihnachtszeit.

Sometimes the heart hurts you so much.
Your dreams lie before you (like) cold snow.
And you are alone with the loneliness.
Never give up, soon it’s Christmastime.


Die Sehnsucht macht dein Herz dir schwer.
Du wünscht so sehr, dass er endlich bei dir wär'.
Und dann kommt der Brief, dass er bei dir bleibt.
Er kommt nach Haus', dann ist Weihnachtszeit.

The longing makes the heart sad.
You wish that it was at last with you.
Then comes the letter, that it will stay with you.
It comes home, then it is Christmastime.


Ist es eine Illusion, oder ein irrer Wunsch,
Wenn man daran glaubt, dass sich Dinge ändern können?
Wenn man die Hoffnung nicht verliert und das Gute glaubt?
An den kleinen Stern und an die Weihnachtszeit.

Is it an illusion, or a crazy wish,
if you believe it, that such things can change,
if you do not lose hope and believe the good
about the little star and about Christmastime?


Der kleine Stern leuchtet hell und klar.
Er sagt zu dir, Träume werden wahr.
Gib dein Ziel nicht auf, ist der Weg auch weit
Du kommst ans Ziel, bald ist Weihnachtszeit.
Bald ist Weihnachtszeit.

The little star shines bright and clear,
It says to you, dreams become true.
Do not give up your destination,(if) the way is too far.
You come to the destination, soon it is Christmastime.
Soon it is Christmastime.
