Can anyone please translate this song? I'm in love with this song but I don't understand the meaning of it. Please it's important. Here are the lyrics.
    Thanks in advace.

What??, do you name this Arabic??, i believe it is "completely" Iraqi, i couldn't understand most of it, so i believe someone else will try to help you

I looked up for the meaning of somewords on the internet & here's my try:

ميجنا .. وعا الميجنا ...وعا الميجنا
Maijna seems to mean that "yama jana" which means how lots of girls came to us. (not sure)
    ياظريف الطول حول عندنا
The beautiful long girl come across to us

    لابس الهبري وقالبته قالب
she wears the (Hebry?) & it looks beautiful at her
    يابعد زوج العيون والقلب
Who's precious more than the eyes & the heart
    روح عند دربي تايسلاك القلب
go away of my way so that the heart would "Taislak??"
وان نساج القلب كيف انساج انا
And if the heart went behind you, how did i do?

    يا ريام الورد ياشط العرب
oh the flower, oh the arabs beach
من هدب عيني اصوغ لج ذهب
from my eyelash i would make gold to you
لو مشت عا الجسر حتى الجسر شب
And if you walk on the bridge, even the bridge would "Shab?"
    من ثقل حجلك ترنح ونثنى
Have no idea what this means

    يا ريام الجرح برمش وعين
Oh the one who is able to heal the injury by a look from her eyes
    زاهي الشمع على الخد اليمين
and the beautiful canlde at her right cheek
والله يم شامه اريد اقسم يمين
hey the one who has a mole i want to swear that.
    يومك تغيبين
    You should leave

I know it's really "Iraqi" and it's hard even for you Arabs to understand it....
Is this something like "reef" Arabic of Iraq?
But still thank you very much for trying to translate it. You helped a lot.
Yet I would appreciate if someone Iraqi could translate it. I'm totally in love with this song. Thanks in advance.

ميجنا .. وعا الميجنا ...وعا الميجنا
    Oh Meejana*
    ياظريف الطول حول عندنا
oh beautiful one, come to us

    لابس الهبري وقالبته قالب
    wearing Al-Habry upside down**
    يابعد زوج العيون والقلب
oh you who's as precious as the eyes and the heart
    روح عن دربي تايسلاك القلب
go away from my way so my heart could forget you
وان نساج القلب كيف انساج انا
and if the heart could forget you, how could I?

    يا ريام الوارده لشط العرب
oh the fawns that are coming to the shores of Arabs
من هدب عيني اصوغ لج ذهب
from my eye lash I'd make gold for you
لو مشت عا الجسر حتى الجسر شب
if she walked on the bridge, the bridge would be young again
    من ثقل حجلك ترنح ونثنى
from the heaviness of your ankle bracelet, it shook and bent

    يا ريام الجرح برمش وعين
oh you're the healer of the wounds with an eye lash and an eye
    زاهي الشامة على الخد اليمين
the beauty spot (mole) is glittering on the right cheek
والله يم شامه اريد اقسم يمين
oh by the by the mole(beauty spot) I want to make an oath
    يومك تغيبين احسب اليوم بسنة
the day you're not near me as if it's a whole year

*it means a big wooden pot for mixing and mashing ingredients
**al habry is a fancy kind of fabric, to indicate that this girl was rich

Did my best, but it is so hard, even for me!! will get back at you later to correct and explain stuff! til then, enjoy~

The hours of pain have yielded good,
    Which prosperous days refused;
As herbs, though scentless when entire,
    Spread fragrance when they’re bruised.

and the video somehow reminds of Kadhem As-Saher's Tetbaghdad 3aleina, doesn't it?

Those Iraqi-dialect songs seem so jaunty and cheeky sometimes very sweet

at the "reef" arabic, not necessarily! it's just Iraqi, but kinda old Iraqi.. for me, even as an Iraqi, I don't get Iraqi that much.. even though it's the dialect I speak in, but having been raised out of Iraq, that's why! and still this song is an old song, that's why it's even harder to translate!

oh by the by the mole(beauty spot) I want to make an oath
    يومك تغيبين
    never go away (from me)

*it originally means those who came to us, but it's used as a phrase, it doesn't necessarily mean anything.
**my own translation of it, lol.. I'll ask my dad about stuff in this song, and get back at you later
    ***could also mean the fawns
****think the candle refers to the make up or the rosiness of the cheek

    Hi,

I double checked the song it seems there is some words were miswritten
Ill write what ive come up with hope it help tho

    لابس الهبري وقالبته قالب
she wears the (Hebry?) & it looks beautiful at her

Hebry= black piece of clothes that women use to cover their bodys with( see the video) in gulf area in saudi arabia we call it abaya

    وقالبته قالب
he describes the way she wears it( folding it up around her body)

    روح عند دربي تايسلاك القلب
go away of my way so that the heart would "Taislak??"
Go awa from my way so the heart can forget you
teslak= forget you or forget about you

وان نساج القلب كيف انساج انا
And if the heart went behind you, how did i do?

and if the heart forgot you, how could i forget ?

    يا ريام الورد ياشط العرب
oh the flower, oh the arabs beach

شط العرب=the place where degla river and alfurat river meet in the south baghdad
not sure what the word ريام means

    زاهي الشمع على الخد اليمين)

    its actually
    زاهية الشامة على الخد اليمين
and the beautiful mole is brightening her right cheek

والله يم شامه اريد اقسم يمين
hey the one who has a mole i want to swear that.

    يومك تغيبين احسب اليوم بسنة
when you disapear ( or when you away from me) the day is like a year for me

@ sohuda please check with ur dad and tell us

thats all what i could come with
    I hope it helps

actually I thought it's like sohuda mentioned it, either fawn or white, or both...I though about reem (white antilope) in Standard Arabic, and maybe that's a variation
