Solved: don't know the rock song

Dear readers,

I listen to a rock song very often in REDfm 96.3 (greece) and i cannot find it to the web even if i tried , probably incorrectly, to google it. The song is by a man singer, a kind of slow-ballad but rock (with soft guitar). The characteristic is that his voice is very very hoarse, his voice reminds me a little bit the voice of the singer in the tango version of roxanne. (not exactly).

I think the song is old (maybe before 2000 ) and what i can say about the lyrics, i think it goes like this : (refrain) : "Babe (or baby)...... ( a small stop) hear (or here).....i am leaving (or living) my ?......bla bla bla.... there is nothing to fear "

the refrain is big enough but the above words are what i almost tried to catch once i heard it. maybe these are not the correct words at all, but i am sure about the last words, i.e. that says :....nothing to fear !

try to dont forget the hoarse man voice, rock song, slow-ballad, rock with probably soft guitar and in the refrain it goes with a lot of stops...(pauses), like he is talking rather than singing quickly.

thank you very much for your reply !! Indeed, it seems that matches in all my criteria, BUT it is not that song ! in fact when i google it chris rea nothing to fear is the first that is appeared. i have already tried it ( what i can say is that the voice is a lot more hoarse than chris rea's one, (like the one in tango-roxanne)

thanx a lot atmaster, but unfortunately i know the song of Chris Daughtry and it is not this. Actually it is too soft relatively the one i am looking for. Actually his voice is not hoarse at all Can your mind go elsewhere for a singer whom voice is like the one of roxanne, the tango version ? because this is the level of hoarse voice that i am loooking for Thanx a lot in any case !
