Thank you persina, well, the translation comes with the album...as for trusting it, i don't think a company with well reputation like Rotana would just throw any translation especially to one of it's major artists like Elissa, considering that she is a world music award winner..so i guess we can trust it..but i think they kinda manipulate and switch alittle in the meaning to fit the western taste, thats my opinion..still i say, i like the worke done here more


@sako: the album is already in greece? it's just released yesterday in K.S.A

My friend is not my work the traslation is from the album and i copy it to here .... this verses is not missing but on the song she say this verse two times and because that on the album they dosen't post it again...

Yes, you can only click the button "Thank you" 5 times, you can't thank more than 5 times a day! =\

Well, first what I saw there its the song 3a bali habibi
they translate it as Darling I want to, I want to...
And I really doubt about its caz I think the meaning is like Eleef translated it..in my mind baby, but not as its written on the covers...So I doubt it

i think i got your point, well the literal explanation of 3a bali is ( if i'm not wrong) in my mind i wish, or i want to do so and so or something like wishful thinking..and i go with what ELEF translated

but as i said before i think they kinda fit the translation to occure with western listeners, to deliever the main idea...i do have many notes about the translation of the album tho

If 3a bali is in my mind that should be translated as in my mind
If Elissa wanted to say I want to she would say ana 3ayza or badi

So that means the idea was in---> in my mind

Then whats the point of changing the real lyrics -.-

i really still don't get why they've changed the meaning so i just guessed the western tase thing..and i said that i much more like the work done on our own more than the album...

as for copying the lyrics ,i believe it came from good intention no more or less,since there have been lots of requests to translate it

yeah, you right i had lots of last night when i was reading the album
if you noticed in my translation i explained it to make it clear
i said who would you want me to swear by( so you can believe me)
and i think they should say( who do you believe in, (so i swear by to make you believe me)
i believe they cared much for the vocabulary rather than the meaning , at least not to ruine it there must be explanation between( prakets) that in my opinion

Note: sometimes translating literary just kill the meaning so you have to find away around to deliver it right..thats my principle i deliever meaning not vocabulry which i think that what translation about

totally agree, that way they ipmlied that the question about the belief itself..i totally agree with you..and not only tesadde2 bemeen , all the lyrics you will find some mis translated phrases..i wonder don't they have some one at the company double check translation before they release it????
