Please help! "dream of, dream of"

Hello I am looking for a song sung by a man, it's an acoustic ballad, sounds a bit like "Dream" by Tuck and Patti. I think it's from the 70's or 80's but I might be wrong. The chorus (at least I think it's the chorus since it gets repeated many times) starts with "dream of, dream of" plus other words. Please help me! (Dream of might be dream on, sounded like of but I dont know)

It's not Aerosmith and "Dream On" is it ?
