one of the balkans will win?

Well, in my opinion, macedonia is alright out. Jas ja imam silata isn't bad, but... it isn't good either. They would've been better off w/ srekja or letam kon tebe, considering srekja had a good show, and letam kon tebe has a good singer, but I doubt either of those would've won (besides, nobody besides me pays attention to macedonia =/ ), and croatia is decent, but not good enough to win.

I have yet to listen to serbia, but i was told the song is "weird"... idk, I'll listen to it later.

I think spain is the one to look out for this year

I like the Israeli song too! Thank God, one powerful song! But I suppose a great role in that plays the language which gives me the chills especially when sang by a good singer! My vote goes to Israel!

Yes unfortunately. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the creature on TV! One part of me hopes he wont make it through the semifinal so that I can hope not many people will get the idea that's the way how Serbian men look like (I didn't have such luck in 2007 when we actually won lol). As for the song, most people don't understand the trash so it's fine.. maybe it sounds catchy to those who don't understand it?
Anyways, saying anything about the "lyrics" would be a waste of space!

This is the song from Germany. I think its really great and its the first time I really like the German song, and I hope it gets many points in the Eurovision song contest:

    Lena Meyer-Landrut with "Satelit"

I haven't really heard many songs but I can say that my favourite is Spain's song. Also Cyprus and Bulgaria have great songs and the other one I heard and I like is the one from FYROM.
Honestly our song is crap, there are better songs like Polemao (I'm fighting), Kinezos (Chinese) and I kivotos tou Noe (Noah's ark), but the stupid Greeks voted for Opa

Everyone turst Turkey's competitorn more than need, and OK I like maNga's style and songs.. but... Come now! Be honest.. :/
I'm not sure about Turkey will be #1.

Turkey can do much better than that and if it wins, it will have nothing to do with the song...

I must say, the more I listen to the German song, the more I like it!

He still has a chance !! He is in the new final haha.. Tomorrow the songs will be aired and on Saturday is the new final. I read somewhere (unsourced, so don't hang me if it's not true, I'm writing it just as a juicy rumour!) that if Lazarovich doesn't win the final on Saturday, the broadcaster will pay him like $100.000

(Imagine how much they could've done for promotion of their entry with that money!)

Poor Ukraine... why did they vote for him in the first place if they didn't like his song? Just curious

They didn't vote. He was selected 'internally' and the other musicians complained it was unfair so they organized the public contest

    PS
    Azerbaijan has a great song!

I think they had better songs in the last two years, and she seems not to be a great live performer so I'm a little bit afraid for it hehe. Howevers, she's first in the bets for who will win this year.

I'll now just post the updated list here, who'll read the whole topic?

This site has pretty much everything and gets updated often. However, the links are to rapidshare that at some times is not available and has waiting times between different downloads (15 minutes usually).

These are the songs - I copied the list from a Dutch site and changed the country names, that's why the list is not 100% alphabetical at all points.
All songs can be found on youtube as well in live and/or studio versions:

Albania: Juliana Pasha - It's All About You / Nuk mundem pa ty

I don't think she is first in any bets considering that the song has just been announced. Supposedly Israel is favorite so far

    BTW
I don't hate that Vasyl Lazarovich song lol and God knows what they will come up with now! : ))

Yes, I already have the Azeri song downloaded, Spring It's nice... though maybe not winning first-place, it could make it at least to the final.

My favorites are definitely Denmark, Azerbaijan and Germany!

Moldovan, Spanish and Albanian (and maybe Croatian and Greek) songs are not bad. I think the most freaky song this year is the Estonian siren and the most ridiculous is of course Serbian entry, followed with the Dutch shalalalablabla and the French guy who got lost on his way to the World Cup.

Here's something I make every year for fun if anyone is interested: Miss Eurovision 2010
And some polls to vote for the songs: here
