This is an 'odd' translation. The meaning is there but some of the phrases are not necessarily the way that it would actually be said. Maybe it is a dialectical difference, which is fascinating to me. Please let me know what dialect of Spanish this is being translated to... it sounds rather formal and literate.

The song's lyrics are quite poetic and it sounds a little old as a Shakespeare's novel, and I tried to retain that touch in the translation. Maybe that's why you think I used a dialect. But it is not Old Castilian, Catalan or or other Spanish variation but pure contemporary Spanish.

Sure, I only wanted to clarify that it was pure Castillian not old castillian, since she asked "Please let me know what dialect of Spanish (...)". Even I accept Spanish is not the only language on here (that's because I prefer to use the term "Castillian", not "Spanish"), I didn't know if people around the world know how many languages we speak on here.
