    Default 80s/early 90s song about ancient egyptians/pharaohs/queens

well it's basically a power ballad or something akin to Duran Duran but only one major vocalist afaik, and he was singing about a woman and comparing her walking/dancing to egyptian queens. That's all I can say because the cassette that i had got erased by mistake.

Also, please help me out with this instrumental track (it has serious clipping from recording source, sorry in advance!)

Your first question reminds me of "Walk like an egyptian" by the Bangles. But it´s not a balllad and women were singing.

Thanks for the identification. Regarding first song no it's not that one it would have been too easy thanks for trying anyhow.

    Egyptians in a PV ?
Reminds me of Michael Jackson - "Remember The Time" but I guess even that would be too easy

If the "queen" was an "European Queen" (misheard?) or in the original release, a "Caribbean Queen" it could be Billy Ocean.
Well, I'm out of ideas now.
