    listened to this song yesterday on vh1 classic.

    it kept repeating this one line "please come back to me"

    and it was an 80s power ballad i think or some generic 80s song

    thanks for the reply, but no thats not it. it was a band, and it was a rock/hair metal song.

    thanks but that wasnt it. i mean it was a band as in: a drummer, guitarist, rhythm guitarist, bassist, singer.

    haha thanks for adding some songs to my ipod, but none of those were it. i guess ill probably never figure it out unless i record every metal mania and go through them

    tryin to think of what they would play on vh1 classic - was it on the metal show? vh1, it would have to have been a hit - maybe ian mcculloch - 'lover, lover'?

    it was on the 4 hour long music video segment called "metal mania". and think of poison, motley crue, winger, that kind of sounding hair metal.
