Default Mary did you know... Spanish version...

    Hola de Rosarito Mexico!

It's almost Christmas time, the time to celebrate the birth of our God and Savior Jesus Christ. I am wondering if anyone has a Spanish translation of the Christmas song... "Mary did you know?" Below are the lyrics in English.

    God bless,
    Miguel en Mexico

Mary did you know that your baby boy would one day walk on water?
Mary did you know that your baby boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you.

Mary did you know that your baby boy would give sight to a blind man?
Mary did you know that your baby boy would calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
And when your kiss your little baby, you have kissed the face of God.

    Oh Mary did you know---

The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dead will live again.
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the lamb---.

Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary did you know that your baby boy would one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
This sleeping child you're holding is the great--I--- AM---.

This is the way we sang You deserve the glory.

You deserve the glory, and the honour
So we lift our hands in worship as we praise your holy name
You deserve the glory, and the honour
So we lift our hands in worship as we praise your holy name

For You are great, you do miracles so great,
there is no one else like you, there is no one else like you.

I am a missionary wife in Ecuador. I am working on putting together a new chorus book for our new church. I am finding this site very helpful so want to thank you all. But I am in need of some words for several songs that are favorites. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. I am looking for words to "As the Deer Panteth for the Water. . . "with all the verses if is possible. Also I would like "Thy Word" and also "There is a Redeemer". Thanks so much. I might be asking for more later.

    Hola Hermanos en Cristo,

Since it's almost time for Christmas, let's get some Christian Christmas lyrics here. Here are some songs to start...

Al Mundo Paz/ Joy to the World

    Al mundo paz, nació Jesus,
    Nació ya nuestro Rey,
    El corazón, ya tiene luz,
    Y paz su santa grey,
    Y paz su santa grey,
Y paz y paz su santa grey

Venid Fieles Todos/ Oh Come All Ye Faithful

    Venid y adoremos, (3x)
    A Cristo el Señor.

    En pobre pesebre, Yace reclinado
    Al hombre ofreciendo, Eternal salvación
El Santo Mesias , El Verbo humanado

    Cantad jubilosas, Célicas criaturas
Resuenen los cielos Con vuestra canción
Al Dios bondadoso, Gloria en las alturas

Oh Ven Bendito Emanuel/ Oh Come Emanuel

Oh ven, oh ven bendito Emanuel
De la maldad rescata a Israel,
    Que hora triste desolación
    Y esperera su liberación

    ¡Cantad! ¡Cantad!
    Pues vuestro Emanuel

    Hoy adorad, a Cristo reverentes
Oh noche divina, nació, el Salvador
    Divina noche, nació, el Salvador

    Nos enseño, a amarnos tiernamente,
Nos dió su ley de amor y su paz,
Libra al esclavo que en cadenas gime,
Y en su nombre la opresión cesará,

Default A Few More Christmas Tunes!

    Hola de Rosarito,

Here are a few more Christmas tunes...

Noche De Paz/ Silent Night Holy Night

Noche de paz, noche de amor
    Todo duerme en derredor
Entre los astros que esparcen su luz
    Bella anunciando al niñito Jesús
Brilla la estrella de paz (2x)

Noche de paz, noche de amor
    Oye humilde el fiel pastor
    Coros celestes que anuncian salud
Gracias y glorias en gran plenitud
    Por nuestro buen Redentor (2x)

Noche de paz, noche de amor
    Ved que bello resplandor
Luce en el rostro del niño Jesús
En el pesebre del mundo la luz
    Astro de eterno fulgor (2x)

¿Qué niño es éste?/ What Child Is This?

Oh pueblecito de Belén/ O Little Town of Bethlehem

    Feliz Navidad

    Feliz Navidad, Feliz Navidad,
Feliz Navidad, Prospero Año y Felicidad.
    Feliz Navidad, Feliz Navidad,
Feliz Navidad Prospero Año y Felicidad.

I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas,

I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas,

Wow, great translation. I never even would have thought of singing this song in English, but I just may this weekend when I lead worship at my bible study group. The only thing I would change is the last line of the chorus so it rhymes, as such:

You're my God and my King
Of Your great love, I will sing

    or something to that effect.

    or

Of Your love I will always sing

but I think the first one is closer to the actual meaning and sounds better

Here is a Spanish Translation of "King of Majesty" by Hillsong United, if anyone's interested:

    English:

You know that I love You
You know that I want to
    Know You so much more
    More than I have before

These words are from my heart
These words are not made up
    I will live for you
    I am devoted to you

King of majesty, I have one desire
Just to be with You my Lord
Just to be with You my Lord

Jesus You are the Saviour of my soul
And forever and ever I'll give my praises to You

    Spanish:

    Sabes que te amo
    Sabes que yo quiero
    Conocerte mas
    Y amarte mucho mas

    Yo vengo sincero
    Mi vida te entrego
    Viviré por ti
    Yo soy devoto a ti

And here's another one I know. It's Every Move I Make/Siempre Que Me Muevo

Every move I make, I make in You
    You make me move Jesus
Every breath I take I breathe in You
Every step I take, I take in You
    You are my way, Jesus
Every breath I take I breathe in You

    We sing:

Na na, na na-na-na-na, na na, na na-na-na-na
Na na, na na-na-na-na, na na, na na-na-na-na

Waves of mercy, waves of grace
Everywhere I look, I see Your face
    Your love has captured me
Oh, my God, this love, how can it be?

Siempre que me muevo es en ti
    Junto a ti Cristo
Siempre que respiro es en ti
Siempre cada paso es en ti
    Tu eres mi camino
Siempre que respiro es en ti

    Cantemos:

Na na, na na-na-na-na, na na, na na-na-na-na
Na na, na na-na-na-na, na na, na na-na-na-na

Oh tu gracia y tu bondad
    Miro alrededor, tu estas alli
    Tu amor me capturó
Oh, gran Dios de amor, no entiendo aun

    Default hillsong united 'free' translation

could someone please help me with translation for 'Free' by Hillsong United. Here's the lyrics, plus some of the translation I have already. I mainly just forget the verses:

    verse 1:
would you believe me if i said...
that we are the ones who can make the change
    in the world today...
would you believe me if i said...
that all of your dreams in your heart
    can come true... today...
would you believe me if i said...
that life could be all that you want it to be... today...

    chorus:
and if i had wings i would fly
'cause all that i need, You are
and if the world caved in around me
to You i'd still hold on
cause You're all that i believe
and the one that created me
JESUS.. because of You.. i'm FREE

    verse 2:
would you believe me if i said...
that God can make miracles happen today
would you believe me if i said...
that you dont need to wait for the answers before..
    you step out in faith..
would you believe me if i said
that nothing is ever IMPOSSIBLE.. for God..

    Bridge:
just live your life.. with God inside
you wont regret one moment of it
and give all that you can for God... for God

    verse 1

(don't know the last line here)

    coro:

Libertad tu me das, solo tu me llenas

    verse 2

    ??? (don't know)

    bridge (Live your life...)

    Pidele que vivo en ti
    No te arrepentiras nunca jamas
    Dale todo, todo a Dios

Cynthia, I read you said you are a missionary wife in Ecuador. My husband and I are youth mission coordinators/leaders in our church who bring groups of students to Ecuador. We are currently seeking to open a mission house in the Rio Bamba area. The main church we minister with is located in Guayaquil. What part of Ecuador do you minister in. You could email me at my regular email address if you would like to correspond. philippian45@hotmail.com

Thank you for the lyrics to O Holy Night. Do you have the end of the 2nd verse? Only half of the verse appears in your message.

Here's the chorus of "Thy Word"
Tu voz es palabra de poder
    Y alumbra mi andar."

That's all I have of that.
I hope you can send the ending of the 2nd verse soon. I'd like to sing it Saturday night (tomorrow, Pacific Daylight Time).
