The songs's name is Noorie (the name of a girl) It's used as a "designated" name for a ghost, bcoz a very very famous old hindi movie had used that name for a ghost.
Noorie
Aaja re, Aaja re, o dilbar jaaniya - Come here, plz, my darling
(Aaja re, aaja re o mere dilbar aaja
mujme aan samaja re) - 2 - Come, get absorbed in me (stay very close to me)
Noorie, noorie
Shaam suhani mehki mekhi - The evening pleasant, and is fragrant
Khushboo teri laye - It brings to me your scent
paas nahi jab... too hi aaye - When you're not close-by... you only come to me
Aaja re, Aaja re, o dilbar jaaniya - Come here, plz, my darling
(Aaja re, aaja re o mere dilbar aaja
mujme aan samaja re) - Stay in me
Noorie, noorie
Door nahi mein tujhse sathi -2- I'm not away from you, mate
Mein to sada se teri -2- I was since forever only yours
Ek nazar jab tujhko dekha - When i looked at you for the first time
Jaagi kismat meri - My (good) fortunes had awaken
Aaja re, Aaja re, o dilbar jaaniya - Come here, plz, my darling
(Aaja re, aaja re o mere dilbar aaja
mujme aan samaja re) - Stay in me
Noorie, noorie
Here you go! I've translated this song.. It's totally different than the older version so i had to actually listen and write down the song... But that's worth it! Good choice, by the way. This song was very very famous and the composer, Bally Saagoo, he's the best in this stuff. The song's very emotional; about a widow-ghost of a war-victim (soldier who died away from home) the woman's ghost is very young, so she must've been a widow when she was young....
Enjoy!
I'm back!!! XD
And romescafe, it's NOt indian, it's Hindi. Hope you'll remember that...
I'm back!!! XD
Sorry for not replying sooner but my computer died a horrible death.
Anyway, thank you very much for your help. I do love this song, I find myself listening to it all the time. I have started to listen to "Hindi" music not too long ago and I've loved most of them...especially the choreography.
oh, thanks for clarifying the "Indian/Hindi" thing
