    I don’t your autograph
Don’t wanna be your other half
I just want you to make me laugh
I don’t want you to say the line
If you don’t wanna sing that’s fine
I want us to talk and you to find
That we're so alike I can read your mind

    If I told you I didn’t know
    If we’d be forever
You just turn and walk away
Telling the truth really wouldn’t be clever
    Cuz you’d leave me today
    And I’d die
So I’ll just have to lie

Can you remember what it feels like to be free
Or the last time you walked down a street
Where you can live for tomorrow
    And tomorrows’ not a dream

Even though it feels like you’ve got no one to turn to
You’ve always got someone to help you through
You’ll always have your favourite movie when things get bad
That picture that cheers you up when you’re sad
That song that sums up what you feel
The hope that someday you’re dreams will be real

The way you move moves me
And the things that you do
    The way that you think
    Makes me think too
    Makes me want you

    You’re the human race
And I’m the climate you have the power to change
Stop the car, ride your bike with me
Hug me tight like I’m a tree
Listen to me and turn off the TV
And you’ll make my world a better place, you’ll see.

It’s been 2 years and 29 days since we broke up
But I still felt choked up
    When I saw you yesterday
    I hoped you’d say hey
But you didn’t and I swear you saw me
It’s been 2 years and 33 days since we broke up
    But I still teared up
When you rode right down my street
    Where we used to meet
In the good days when everything was easy

    Spotlights turn to skylines
And my mind turns to you
Good times turned to old times
Cuz this time, we didn’t pull through
I know someday I’ll go find you
    And relive what we had
Though I know we’ll end up back
In the same place where our love was dead
With these words of this song proving that our love had died
    A long time ago

The truth hurts everytime every time I wake
I open my eyes and remember that you’re 13000 miles away
And you will never feel the same
Wish I could turn the clock back
So that, I never fell in love with you
    Sometimes I don’t wanna wake

    September’s coming around
    Thinking about winter clothes
Summer’s brought no love and your alone
Time to find someone to call your own
No one wants to be alone in the winter time
No one there to replace the sun shine
Your mother calls and says how about this friend of mine
He’s still eating but she puts him on the line
Anyone but him would do just fine

Instead of going out alone on a Friday
I sit on my own looking back
    on old love
    Or the lack of
My 3 years of love hasn’t faded
I still think that I know the one
    But we won’t meet
    He don’t know me
    I know that he’s impossible
Someone else hurry up and find me
I’m in love with the impossible
Someone else hurry up and find me
    Someone possible please
I’m looking for someone other than you
But I don’t like what I’m looking for
The problems seems to be that they’re not you

You put up the walls and then you knocked them all back down
You swept me off my feet and then you dropped me on the ground
For one moment in time I was living a love story
With the king of all Prince Charmings that you see in the movies
My character was insignificant until you opened up the book
The readers hung on your every word and read as I got hooked
Then you just left the story, the readers left it on the shelf
But that was my life and it felt like you’d torn the pages out
My fairytale story turned into a mystery, when the lonely girl’s lover disappeared into history

    You tell me
the only one who doesn't see my beauty
is the face in the mirror looking back at me
    but I can't see
    myself like you do
    I try to
have perspective but that's easier to say than do
I'm not oblivious to other issues in the world
Asia's problems are bigger than mine
And yes, the struggles I face are oh so small
but they're weighing me down like the wight on my shoulders
this population of one just can't hold it
