I wrote this for a girl whom I like, very much. Haven't really worked up the courage to ask her out, but she is a good friend of mine. I'm surprised at the popularity of my last post on this end of the forums: Good-bye, Forever. But here is my poem:

Oh to be in the presence of such grace,
Such beauty divine
Oh, how I long for a taste
Of thine sweet lips on mine
Though 'tis not out of lust
For to me, 'twould disgust
'Tis something less robust

It is something much softer
Sent from the heavens above
'Tis something few tend offer
In my heart I know, 'tis love

I'm incline to profess
I'm afraid to confess
The emotions deep in my heart
Though they may skim to the surface
Looking for a shimmer of hope
More of'en than not I'm nervous
So they're pushed into the fear I cope
