Merhaba, I hope that someone is willing to translate these songs of Hande Yener's latest album "Hande'ye Neler Oluyor?" In my opinion, these are the more heartbreaking songs (especially "Bi Gideni Mi Var?"; eventhough I don't really know what this song is about, it just tears my heart out everytime I hear it :.)).

    Çok teşekkürler in advance!!!

    Çöp
    Her şeyi koy bir torbaya
    Hepsi çöp
    Korkma dök
    Kurallara uymayı kabul et
    Hadi çök
    Hadi çök

    Ben hiç uyudum mu
    Sandığın soğudum mu

    Yalanların çoğu
    Bir gün gelir geçer
    Gider batı doğu
    Yönü kendi seçer
    Bugün çabuk giden
    Yarın geri döner
    İçimde gerçeğin yok
    Hemen çekip giden
    Yarın geri döner
    Seninse döndüğün yok

    Bi Gideni Mi Var?
Bi gideni mi var bu aşkın?
Bi küseni mi var da yoksa
    Senin haberin yok
    Ya da kederin yok
    Hiç olmadı olmasın da zaten

Bi susanı mı var bu aşkın
Bi biteni mi var da yoksa
    Senin haberin yok
    Ya da bu rolün çok
    Anladın.. anladın da neyse

    Keşke görebilseydim
    Herkes daha mutluyken
    Aşkın doğduğu yerde
    Yeni buluşulmuşken
    Senden bana bir şey yok
    Artık konuşulmazda
    Benle benle

    Keşke görebilseydim
    Herkes daha mutluyken
    Aşkın doğduğu yerde
    Yeni buluşulmuşken
    Senden bana bir şey yok
    Yalnız savaşılmazda
    Senle senle

    Boşa Ağlayan kız
    Günlerce anlaştıktan sonra
    Ürkekçe yaklaşmaya paydos
    Onlarca başlangıçtan sonra
    Gittikçe zorlaşmaya paydos

    Tadını yaşamak yerine
    Ölecek gibiyiz ikimiz
    Tutuşan ateşin külüne
    Sönecek gibiyiz ikimiz

    Boşa ağlayan kızla
    Paylaş sen derdini
    Bizi bağlayan kızla
    Herkesten çöz beni
    Hadi..

    Oldukça yıprandıktan sonra
    Kendinden saklanmaya paydos
    Onlarca başlangıçtan sonra

    Neden Ayrıldık?
    Bi gün daha böyle geçti
    Benim hala kalbim kırık
    Böyle geçti ne değişti?
    Senin hala aklın kaçık

    Ne soru var
    Ne cevabı
    Sahi biz neden ayrıldık?
    Ne düş güzelliğin senin
    Ne başka bir güzelliğin
    Bilsen umrumda değil

    Döner durur dünya varsın dursun
    Ganimeti benim değil senin olsun
    Gözüm yok başka şeyde
Ama lütfen yalnız yarın benim olsun
    Döner durur dünya varsın dursun
    Ganimeti mühim değil senin olsun
    Gözüm yok başka şeyde
Ama lütfen bir tek yarın benim olsun
    Nolur sus
    Sende buz gibi hava

Hahaha, oh, dude, come on: you're from İstanbul; warpspeed city!

No for real, I just love Hande, and it really bugs me that I love songs of her, but that I can't really get a grip on what she is singing. And those four songs are so damn heartbreaking. :.)

Nonetheless: take your time! You're, I suppose, human, so you can only do so much.

Never been to İstanbul?? What, WHAT, WHAT??? I can't talk to you if you are being hysterical! :P

It's like the best city in Türkiye (sorry to those people that hail from other parts of the country :P)!

No, really, it's like a few hours from Ankara (I think, what, 3 to 4 hours?), and you haven't been there, not even once? Neden? God, I can't even describe what you are missing out there! :P

But how is Ankara, then? At first, when I was going to İstanbul, I wanted to travel to Ankara, but that was before my friend went along with me, so Ankara went on hold.

I really don't know why Let's say just couldn't find a right time to do it (I want to make myself believe that right now )
Ankara, hmm, let's just say it's not better than İstanbul

Really, visit that city sometimes! That city has everything; culture (from multiple eras; Greek, Roman, Osman, Western European, and, of course, Turkish), nightlife, music, sea... I thought of it as a country within the country. It has its own rules, its own way of life, its own reasons to exist. It's old, it's new, it's west, it's east... Yet it somehow felt like a (large) village. I really had a more than great time there! To quote Funky C in Demet's song "Dans Et":
This is everything you asked for, right here, right now
(alright, I will send the rest via a private message; this is going to be so way off topic, that no one knows what the topic was to begin with )

    RUBBISH (ÇÖP)

    Put everything into a bag
    It’s all rubbish
    Don’t hesitate to dump (it)
    Accept to obey the rules
    Attack me
    Attack me

    Did I ever slept?
Did you think that I quenched?

    Most of the lies
    Come and go some day
They go to the west (and) to the north
    (They) decide their own direction
    The one who leaves today
    Will come back tomorrow
I don’t have your reality within me
The one who takes his leave right now
    Will come back tomorrow
    But you never do so

IS THERE SOMEBODY LEAVING? (Bi’ Giden Mi Var?)

Is there somebody leaving this love?
Is there somebody getting offended in this love?
    You are either unaware
    Or have no trouble
You have never had (trouble) (and) I wish you never have.

    Is there somebody becoming silent?
    Is there something ending?
    You are either unaware
    Or acting well
You got what I mean but it’s okay

I wish you could have seen
    When everyone was happier
    When we had just met
At the place where love was born
You can do me no good
(And) From now on, it is impossible to talk
    To me, to me

I wish you could have seen
    When everyone was happier
    When we had just met
At the place where love was born
You can do me no good
(And) From now on, it is impossible to fight with you alone
    With you, with you

WHY DID WE BREAK UP? (Neden Ayrıldık?)

One more day has passed in that way
(And) My heart is still broken
What has changed when it (the day) passed in that way?
You are still out of your wits (you are still mad)

    There is neither a question
Nor an answer (to tell the reason of our separation)
Why did we break up actually?
I care about neither your physical appearance
    Nor another quality of yours
    If only you would know

The world keeps turning, it will
Its treasure should be not mine but yours
I have an interest in nothing else
    Other than getting “tomorrow”
The world keeps turning, it will
Its treasure should be not mine but yours
I have an interest in nothing else
But please, let me have only your "half"

    Please hush
(Because) You are just too cold

Thnx silver_moon!! Those songs are really great. I reckon the latest album of Hande being, lyrically, a little bit dark, as if her heart was broken lately or somethin' like that. Many songs are about broken hearts/ failed relationships.

    Anyhow, kudos to you silver_moon!

THE GIRL CRYING IN VAIN (Boşa Ağlayan Kız)

    After talking for days
Stop approaching timidly (you should stop)
    After so many new starts
    It won’t get harder anymore

Instead of making the most of it
It’s like we both will die
It’s like we both will quench
    In the burning fire

    (You) Commiserate with the girl
    Crying in vain
With the girl who has fastened us
Ask everyone about me and discover me
    Let’s do it

    After wearing out so much
    Stop hiding from yourself
    After so many new starts
    …

I don't like this song and also it doesn’t make sense at all (maybe just to me). To answer you comment, yes, you have defined the theme of the album well. But it should be taken into consideration that all the songs in the album belong to the same person, Sinan Akçıl. What I think is that if it was a matter of preferance, she wouldn't chose these songs but she did it as she wanted to make a brand new start and wanted to work with the right person. Sinan Akçıl is a bit like Serdar Ortaç, composing melodically and rhythmically good but lyrically weak songs (not every time but most of the time) but at least not weaker than Serdar Ortaç's songs He is far better than Serdar Ortaç but he is not a singer. (But I think the one who sings the final part of Yasak Aşk with Hande Yener is he, I have also heard so)

    You are welcome for all

    Thnx silver_moon!

And I like Sinan Akçıl quite some much! He is behind Hadise as well, and she makes better music by every single day! The best comes from when he and Stefaan Fernande work together (Heard "Düm Tek Tek", "On Top/ Sıradan", and " "Hero/Kahraman"? ). Although I must say: Deniz Erten's song "Aşkkolik" is, and stays, by far, the best for me!

Anyhow, Hande is on a good path: electronica, dance, and pop, all combined in one!

I absolutely adore this song and am so happy to know the lyrics now (which are not that bad, BTW)! It's amazing that Sinan Akçıl has created this album on his own and though the stylistic integrity is evident, each song is different and evokes different feelings! Great job!

This album is not her best but still a good one, at least better than her last two albums before that one. "Apayrı (Utterly different)" is far better than any other album in her career. It is really "utterly different"!

You should ignore all the rest and should give priority to that great album.
Can you please tell me the name of those albums and their singers? I'm asking just out of curiousity.

Sana da iyi geceler. (Good nigh to you, too)

Thanks, to the author and all the guys for translation!!
I think this is Hande's albuum after Apayri which is REALLY nice to listen, its much melodic. The ones in the middle were not so good.
I also like very much Bi Gidene Mi Var

One thing I didn't care for about this album was the almost complete lack of harmony... no layers musically at all! I'm not talking about synths or anything, but I thought this album felt a bit hollow, a bit lacking.

My favorite song of Hande's by FAR is the live acoustic version of"Biraz Özgürlük", or bir iz gerek (which I thought neden ayrıldık blatantly stole from!!) Apayrı however doesn't have a single bad song on it! (Though I loved hipnoz and hayrola completely as well..) It's interesting to hear so many other people's opinions on hande

Totally agree with you as far as Apayrı is concerned! This record is like a perfectly polished diamond - no scratches or imperfections to be found.

However, I also like her latest album very much, especially the slow songs and I perceive Neden Ayrıldık as the pearl of this collection. I admit that as compared to Apayrı this album is somewhat modest or lacking the richness of its artful predecessor but at the same time some of the compositions or arrangements at Hande'ye Neler Oluyor are simply brilliant from the purely musical point of view. Sinan Akçıl is a very creative composer and surely capable of creating something valuable even when having very scarce root material. Sometimes less is more and this is how I see her latest album.
