Next week I’m hitchhiking to Spain from Hungary to a summer university in Barcelona, and I very much trust in the help of the warm-hearted Polish truck drivers.. Would you translate the following for me so that I can have a bit of conversation with those who are kind enough to pick me up? Thanks in advance!

    Unfortunately I don’t speak Polish.
    Do you speak Spanish/German/English/Turkish … Hungarian?
    Where are you heading to?
    Where do you come from?
    I’m from…
    I’m a law student in Debrecen.
    My mother is a teacher (of children), my father has a small enterprise.
    (There’ll be a) summer university in Barcelona.
    Petrol station.
    Before (Lyon).
    Very good place to hitchhike.
    I’m very grateful.
    Polish people are really kind.
    Very good, I like it.

    - the version when you give only first name, without a surname

    Niestety, nie mówię po polsku.

    Do you speak Spanish/German/English/Turkish … Hungarian?
    Czy mówi Pan po hiszpańsku / po niemiecku / po angielsku / po turecku / ...po węgiersku ?
    - this is a formal version, a polite form:
    "Pan" + a verb in the third person singular (when you speak to a man)
    if you are a youth and you speak to a person of your age you can use informal form (the second person singular):
    Czy mówisz po hiszpańsku / etc...

    Where are you heading to?
    Dokąd Pan jedzie? / Dokąd Pan zmierza? (polite form)

    Where do you come from?
    Skąd Pan jest? / Skąd Pan pochodzi? (polite form)
    Skąd jesteś? Skąd pochodzisz? (informal form)

    I’m from…
    Jestem z...

    I’m a law student in Debrecen.
    Studiuję prawo w Debreczynie. / Jestem studentem prawa w Debreczynie.

    My mother is a teacher (of children), my father has a small enterprise.
    Moja mama jest nauczycielką w szkole (my mother is a teacher at school), mój ojciec ma małą firmę.
    / Moja mama uczy dzieci w szkole (my mother teaches children at school) , mój ojciec ma małą firmę.
    (both versions used in Polish)

    (There’ll be a) summer university in Barcelona.
    Będzie wakacyjna szkoła w Barcelonie / Będą letnie kursy w Barcelonie (I don't see a context of that)

    Petrol station.
    Stacja benzynowa.

    Before (Lyon).
    Przed Lyonem.

    Very good place to hitchhike.
    Bardzo dobre miejsce na autostop.

    I’m very grateful.
    Jestem bardzo wdzięczny.

    Polish people are really kind.
    Polacy są naprawdę życzliwi. / Polacy są naprawdę mili.

    Very good, I like it.
    Bardzo dobrze, podoba mi się. / Bardzo dobrze, odpowiada mi to.
