    Default Duman- Bir atas ver

Someone can translate this nice song?

Ah bir ataş ver cıgaramı yakayım
Sen salın gel ben boyuna bakayım
    Uzun olur gemilerin diregi
    Ah çatan olur efelerin yüregi
    Ah yanık olur anaların yüregi

Ah vura taşa gavur sinem koy yansın
    Arkadaşlar uykulardan uyansın
    Uzun olur gemilerin diregi
    Ah çatan olur efelerin yüregi
    Ah yanık olur anaların yüregi

The story of that song is very very sad.
i ll try the translation but before i like to share the story:

    April 04 1953 02:15
Turkish submarine "Dumlupınar", had a collision with a sweedish cargo ship named "Nabuland" near Canakkale.
There were 81 sailors in the submarine. The submarine sank. Some time after the rescue teams were there, they noticed a safety buoy which had a phone line connected to the ship. So they talked with the submarine by that phone line. There were 22 survivers in the submarine. Everyone was mobilised for rescue. The survivers were told "not to smoke, not to sing, not to make extra moves because they need oxygen to be saved". After hours as the rescue teams realised that there was nothing to do, they gave the bad news to the survivers by saying " you can talk eachother, sing; even smoke". Just after that massage was given to the submarine all Turkey listened that song from that phone line sang by 22 brave men.

Ah bir ataş ver cıgaramı yakayım
Sen salın gel ben boyuna bakayım
    Uzun olur gemilerin diregi
    Ah *çatan olur *efelerin yüregi
    Ah yanık olur anaların yüregi

Ah give me a light, let me light my cigaratte
may you sway and come, let me look at your height (meaning beuty)
    The ships masts are long
    The *hectors hearth are *big
    Mothers hearts are burnt

Ah vur ataşa gavur sinem ko yansın
    Arkadaşlar uykulardan uyansın
    Uzun olur gemilerin diregi
    Ah çatan olur efelerin yüregi
    Ah yanık olur anaların yüregi

light the match merciless, let my hearth(most loved one) burn
Let my friends wake up from their sleep
    The ships masts are long
    The hectors hearth are big
    Mothers hearts are burnt

*i translated Efe as hector but its the strong and brave men in west part (Aegean Sea coasts) of Turkey
*Çatan is a big basket to carry big load.

i will appreciate so much if any corrections are done.
