Solved: soul-funky song - power to the people

hello everyone..!

this is about a soul-funky song i am looking for... there is a female voice repeating the words "we be, we be" as the song is going on and different kind of phrases including these two words... a phrase i can remember for example is "why can't we be nice to each other".. after that, a male voice comes up singing a funky refrain ending with the phrase "power to the people..!!"

it didn't sound like a classic song.. it's kind of a modern one...

i hope these are enough for someone who might know to understand... or even make a good guess..!!
