Need help with older song, 80/90s

I have no idea who sings it or the title, and barely remember any lyrics so this may be tough. It is from the late 80s I believe, and rock though not a hair band. I remember the video had something to do with a haunted house the band was in and the lead singer was in an armchair at times wearing a black suit. Lyrics I can only partially remember are part of the chorus.

Don't remember after that.
