    Default Hindi-->Punjab

    Difference between punjab and Hindi.

    Grammar

    I would like to know about:
    --Plural forms(-ein,-on, hindi);
    --present tense
    --past tense
    --future tense
    --present continue
    --adjectives(difference between M and F)


    Ps:I put more questions,but take it easy whit the answers.

    Difference between Punjab and Hindi.

    To start with both hindi and Punjabi are two different languages with a different
    * Script
    Devnagri in case of Hindi (as ha sbeen discussed here
    and Gurmukhi in Case of Punjabi.
    The Hindi word forscript is lippi. You may come across it as in Gurmukhi lippi it simply means Gurmukhi Script.

    Punjabi has a distinct accent of it's own which clearly distinguishes it from Hindi.
    Even the common Hindi-Punjabi words a re pronounced with Punjabi accent

    Hindi is a national language whereas Punjabi is a regional language.
    The constitution of India grants Hindi the status of National Language of India.
    Punjabi is the state Language of the Indian state of Punjab making it the native language of it's People Punjabis

    (At present 22 languages are officially recognized by the constitution of India.)

    Gender

    Reha male (aa Sound)
    Rahi = Female (ee Sound)

    Mada = Bad
    Changa = Good
    Mota = fat
    Patla = Thin or lean
    Gora = fair
    Kala = dark
