no, it's more upbeat and a little harder than that. singer has a very similar tonal quality though.

also lyrics might also be "she won't stop dancing"...i can't really remmeber but i'd know it if i heard it.

really? do you know the name of the song? i know the song is not either of those songs, but the sound of it could be either of those bands.

No, I've been looking but I'm not finding it. Here's what I remember:

- The chorus says something about when a woman dances she can get any man she wants.
- One of the lines was something like "she got down on her knees" (implying oral sex).
- The story is about this woman who had a bad childhood so she ended up stripping and moving her way up the ladder by sleeping with powerful men.
- Haha, another part just popped in my head as I'm writing this... Basically the woman is arrested but the judge lets her off because he is sleeping with her.
- This was a new song about a year ago that I used to hear often on Funky Monkey (104.9).
- I think it might be a new band which is why I'm having trouble remembering their name.

I've looked through the Funky Monkey song logs for the last week but I'm not seeing anything familiar yet: http://www.yes.com/#KFNK?log I'll post it if I find/remember it.

YES!!! I had given up on finding that song. No wonder the chorus reminded me of their song "Something in Your Mouth". It's the same band!
