    Hi there: I got a profile picture done, but have problems with editing an avatar. What's the difference between a custom avatar and an avatar and clear instructions how to make an avatar are welcome. No freaky language please!

    hi amaryn,
    actually we only have custom avatars here. If you want to use one, please go to User CP -> Edit Avatar, choose "Use Custom Avatar" option, upload an image or enter a URL. Max avatar size is 100x100 pixels.

    It's under the list of topics and above the display options in each forum section.
