    i recall hearing a mostly instrumental adult contemporary song on the radio in the early 90's (so it is at least that old), but there was some female singer giving the occasional "whoo" it sounded like. i'm guessing this was from the 70's or 80's.

    i know this is a long shot, but i don't think there were many instrumental hits out there, and adult contemporary would narrow it down more. Anybody have any ideas?

    this one has been solved. Been trying to figure this one out for 20 years, and yesterday it finally happened. #1 hit for 2 weeks back in summer of 79.
